Our new wagon!

We were lucky enough to get a freebie wagon a few weeks ago and the girls love it!

They climb right in as soon as they go outside. They especially love for their daddy to pull them. We found it helpful for unloading from a Costco trip.

We are trying to have Makenna practice walking so when Olivia got on the tractor it seemed like the perfect time for "rides"

Both girls liked it when M pushed O- when they traded spots however Olivia was quickly done.

It was a good photo op for mom though. 

Anyone know where I can find some John Deere scrapbook paper? ha ha !!!

We can do it !!

This picture was taken after the girls both climbed on the bench by themselves. They wee quite proud but by the time I got the camera some of their glee had worn off. And since we wouldn't let them stand up on the bench they were quickly bored and got right down.

They love the outside and would be out there all day if I let them. As soon as they get up they start pointing and hitting the window to go out.

Now and Then

I thought it would be fun to compare what the girls looked like now vs. a year ago this week.

Here they are this week busy as ever. Makenna likes to line the riding toys up. Olivia was proud because she was able to nab both my cell phone and sunglasses.

Family visits

I'm still figuring this whole blog thing out- sorry the pictures are out of order

We were so excited to have Joe and his future bride Ellen and also Erin and her roommate come to visit us. We all got together Friday and went to lunch at the Ventura Pier. Then at night the adults went to the Hollywood Bowl. Saturday we met Erin and Amanda at the beach. I didn't get many pictures( bad camera day).  The girls did not like the sand or ocean very much but had fun splashing water in their pails.

We all met for dinner later at Wood Ranch. It was yummy. Makenna has figured out that it is more fun to be out of the highchair than in it so I think our eating out days are numbered.

Summer's over?

We just got started- playing outside that is. Finally, we had sunshine this week so I got the pool and water table they got for their birthday out and they finally got to wear their swimsuits.

We had a good time playing outside this week. They couldn't stay away from the dog food though- silly girls!
